AIDS is gods punishment to a homosexual lifestyle
I saw this on my local news last night! It's on some church marque in Mississippi, and the pastor refuses to take it down because "god told him to put it up." How crazy is that!

3. I Might Be Inclined to Ask This Pastor
I might be inclined to ask this pastor is he would ask God why young babies are infected with AIDS.

7. Not Crazy At All ...
just ask the children with aids. I am sure their 'sins' justified their being born with AIDS.

I forget. Please help me remember. In which 'book' did JC say we 'sins' of the father are visited on the children????

Bush Lied, People Died, Media Cheered.

12. Not the words of Jesus, if I remember correctly; rather, in several OT
books (Exodus 20, for example, the 10 Commandments tale) it was God speaking or prophets proclaiming God's word. I don't believe Jesus is purported to have said this, at least not in the Bible.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, anyone!

9. So creating AIDS was simpler than, say, leaving a note about it?
Hi Guys,
Just wanted you to know that I love you. And the church needs money, so pay up.
Oh, and don't fuck people of the same gender.
You Friend,
G-D

Would that have been too much to ask?

10. Joseph Smith got tired of one woman...
So, God told him to take a few more.

Just because you are a prophet doesn't mean you are always right. Idiots like that pastor give Christianity a bad name.

13. God said to Abraham
"Kill me a son"
Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No." Abe say, "What?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin' you better run"
Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done?"
God says, "Out on Highway 61."

Well Georgia Sam he had a bloody nose
Welfare Department they wouldn't give him no clothes
He asked poor Howard where can I go
Howard said there's only one place I know
Sam said tell me quick man I got to run
Ol' Howard just pointed with his gun
And said that way down on Highway 61.

Well Mack the Finger said to Louie the King
I got forty red white and blue shoe strings
And a thousand telephones that don't ring
Do you know where I can get rid of these things
And Louie the King said let me think for a minute son
And he said yes I think it can be easily done
Just take everything down to Highway 61.

Now the fifth daughter on the twelfth night
Told the first father that things weren't right
My complexion she said is much too white
He said come here and step into the light he says hmm you're right
Let me tell the second mother this has been done
But the second mother was with the seventh son
And they were both out on Highway 61.

Now the rovin' gambler he was very bored
He was tryin' to create a next world war
He found a promoter who nearly fell off the floor
He said I never engaged in this kind of thing before
But yes I think it can be very easily done
We'll just put some bleachers out in the sun
And have it on Highway 61.

14. Well, the sign in Colorado...
... that blamed Jews for killing Christ supposedly was removed and replaced with an apology. Or so I hear. If anyone lives nearby in Colorado, I'd be interested to hear if that really is what has been done.

Smirnoff, find out the name of the church if you can, please, and maybe an e-mail campaign will put some pressure on the pastor and congregation in Mississippi.

Also, I'd like to say to those Christians who remind the rest of us that they aren't all like Fred Phelps (which I really do understand!)... this is the time for all of you to make phone calls and write editorials and speak to your own pastors. Those of us who are not Christian will most definitely support you and back you up. I'll be glad to e-mail this Mississippi pastor, and if one of you happens to call in to my local talk radio station, I'll call in right after you and say how good it is to hear Christians speak out against this homophobic BS nonsense. At the same time, we non-Christians are sometimes seen as not entitled to speak to Christian behavior. So, please, Christian folks out there... speak up!

15. Jerry Falwell peddled this hate in the 80's.
Find out how you can get in touch with that pastor and tell him that he'll go to hell peddling hate such as this.
