The right-wingers -- fueled by Rush's chastising of recent nominees -- have jumped on the bandwagon because of those they have deemed unworthy, so they're probably embarrassed. Now they can't ridicule all the nominees. Now they have no ground on which to stand when they say the Nobel Prize is a left-wing tool. Not that they had any ground to stand on anyway. And not that I think it's that important either. But they (Repub's) have been the one to put so much negative stock in it. T'will be interesting to see what happens now.

4. Nominations are accepted
from just about any high level state functionary, so naturally some Bushtoad submitted his name. Could've been self-preservation that drove him to it -- the Boy King probably would've been insufferable if no one pitched him.
