1. I voted against it. I think many of us will just to see him fail
It was a Dem primary so I think that more Dems than repugs will have voted and probably will vote against it to put a spike in his coffin.

2. Thank-you from a non-Californian who is afraid that
a successful Ahnold could go nationwide. (And yes I understand that there are obstacles, but...)

10. I did exactly as you did and for the same reasons.
And told everyone at work the same thing and most of them agreed so I can count half a dozen women flipping off Herr Gropenfuhrer by voting no on his bullshit bonds!

3. Last night on TV
he was among "the pe-e-e-eople" and was leaning over a woman and just cornering her asking if she was going to vote for it with those terminator eyes of his and she kinda shrunk back and said she didn't know yet. Ha! Heck yes I voted No.

Yes on 55
No on 56

6. Voted "No"...
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 08:03 PM by brook
as did a GOPer I know. Some figure to give Ahnold enough rope...afterall, he made some ridiculous campaign claim to the effect that all he had to do was to go through the books and he'd "fix" everything.

edit for grammar.

7. Not if I can help it
Voted no on both his little pet projects. I'm usually supportive of spending on education and social programs but in this case, I couldn't stand the hypocrisy -- this is exactly how Gray Davis would have handled the deficit.

8. I'm a Californian who voted against the measure. . .
not because it will help or harm Herr Shickelgroper, but because it's the right thing to do. I don't want to place my children in debt to pay for the errors of my generation. Let's "bite the bullet" instead, raise taxes, and solve this problem as quickly as possible. It'll be painful but then, stupidity should be painful, else people will fall too easily into the same trap again.

9. Hope Not--
Not that I want to see him fail, just believe we should fix this problem the right way, not pawn the debt off on the backs of future generations to pay.

12. I Voted Against It.
He's now the Governor of my state.

He participated in recalling our elected Governor who had to grapple with the same issues.

Most every Democrat I know voted against it.
