She, of course, was referring to the supplying of WMD to Saddam Hussein and telling him where to use it by the US. Personally, I could not think of a "geopolitical circumstance" that would warrant such action. To me, it would be like giving Hitler poison gas, then the addresses of the Jews to use it on. What is even more telling is that after Saddam Hussein did as asked, the Reagan Administration kept given him more WMD and continued telling him where to use it.

I remember, on Fox News, when Florida was called for Gore, there was a look of absolute panic, fear, and hatred in the eyes of Brit Hume and the other anchors.... I was so struck by it (it was the first time I'd ever watched Fox, I was at a friend's house), especially given what happened afterwards.
