Gas Price?
Last night, my local gas station (in South Mississippi) sold regular at $1.51, at 7:30 this morning it was $1.55; at 9:00 it was $1.59. I'm afraid to check out the price again. I guess buying gas with my awesome tax break is how I'll contribute to stimulating the economy.

1. and this is as cheap as it will be
We bought gas in NWArkansas for $1.54 yesterday.
But we were lucky. You could watch them jacking up
prices all around town(We were looking for our lost dog. We
found him.).
I saw $1.63 as the new standard for unleaded.

10. Won't happen,not this summer....
Chimp's Oil Baron bud's will take it up the shorts for several months up to the election to keep prices down if need be.

Once a Dem is in office watch your ass, they'll pull a phony price increase faster than the one they did in the summer of 2000 when Gore became the Dem candidate.

8. Forget gas (petrol), my home heating bill went through the roof
My per unit cost was about twice as expensive as this time last year and about three times more expensive than just a couple months ago. I only fill up about once a month so I don't notice the gas station increase, but I noticed the huge heating bill.

On a sidenote, why the hell do we call the liquid that we put into our cars gas?

9. Could get weird.
Whether it is market forces or price gouging, the oil companies are in serious danger of exceeding American's pain threshold. This will not play well for their puppet in the WH.

I can imagine a scenario where they actually sell gas for below production cost just to avoid hurting Shrub in November.
