2. He thought Iraq was higher priority.
He had to get Saddam because they had weapons of mass destruction and were connected to 9/11.

5. Doesn't matter at this point...
Bush captures Saadam Hussein then gives the state of the union, his approval ratings go down. Bush captures Osama then gives some speech or makes a fool of himself at a debate, his approval ratings go down.

6. Actually,
Pakistan's coup-elected leader Pervez Musharraf stole George W*'s thunder and announced to major networks that those plans were in the works more than a week ago.

Will the real mastermind(s) behind the 9-11 attacks please stand up. (Al Queda terrorist network has yet to acknowledge they were responsible)

7. there is something smelly going on here
Edited on Sat Feb-28-04 07:56 PM by Marianne
and I do believe it is the artificially comprised work up to the "capture" of Osama. I have been seeing these "headlines" now for a couple of days on the Yahoo news.

What the hell is this coward of an AWOL commander in thief doing approving a plan to capture OBL?

He is so stupid and uninformed and so incompetant, that everything he says is just a laughable sound bite given to him by otners to repeat. Does anyone every really believe that he has anything of import to say? \\

Does anyone really believe he is in charge of anything at all?

By now, it should be obvious and most obvious to him, I would hope, that he does not have one bit of any input to anything that is going on because he is just there on a ride given to him by the Supreme court appinted by his daddy and other Republicans.

He knows it and that has got to register somewhere within his Psyche--on the other hand, maybe not--he may too stupid to ever reflect upon the idea that he is a poster boy and a rather "also ran" at that.
