1. What's Saddam doing in there?
The only problem with this complaint, and it's huge, is that one of the people served was "former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein." Who had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.

2. Bush's Poppy armed Saddam while Reagan's veep.
That's what Iraq-gate was all about. Iraq was a terrorist nation until they attacked Iran and became our friend and trading partner. At the time, we also were helping arm the Ayatollah.

7. That's right! But this is a 9/11 suit!
Not a BCCI/Iraqgate/Iran-contra/Halliburton suit. As such, Saddam doesn't belong in this one.

Edited on Sat Feb-28-04 06:47 PM by seemslikeadream
Shortly before U.S. forces began streaming across the Iraqi border, commencing Persian Gulf War II the CIA and the Department of Denfense wiht a little help from Israel and some Europeans, pulled off a massive bank heist to the tune of several billion dollars.

The CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency are accused by International Currency Review, the London-based journal, of mounting a joint ultra-secret operation to electronically remove an estimated $10 billion out of Iraqi Central Bank hours before the start of Persian Gulf War II. The whereabouts of the money is not known.

According to the General Accounting Office the investigation agency of Congress, Saddam was estimated to have accumulated $6.6 billion between 1997 and 2000 from illegal oil smuggling and from illicit deals connected with the United Nations oil for food program."

3. RICO Act the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations
In 1970, Congress passed the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1961-1968. At the time, Congress' goal was to eliminate the ill-affects of organized crime on the nation's economy. To put it bluntly, RICO was intended to destroy the Mafia.

4. He was served last month - Not yesterday
How is it they were able to serve several administration officials yet Judicial Watch & The Sierra Club were unable to serve Cheney over the Energy Plan papers?
