Pushy Xian? Quote from Falwell
Found on BartCop and saw it posted on Arianna.com

Dueling Quotes

"I hope I live to see the day when, as in the early days of our country,
we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them. What a happy day that will be!"
--Rev. Jerry Falwell (R-Insane), Attribution

"Secular schools can never be tolerated because such a school has no religious instruction and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith.... We need believing people."
--Adolf Hitler, (R-Insane Squared) April 26, 1933, Attribution

...all that private school tuition? And if religious schools are so darned important to him, shouldn't he be out building more right now? What's stopping him?

4. It isn't expensive
After all, he doesn't really care about the students having to learn to think or do much else than obey his interpretation of what is and isn't moral.

You don't need much in the way of teachers, facilities or materials to do that kind of "education".

5. Really
As soon as they ban science, and art, and turn it into Drill Camps for Jesus, it can be run on a shoe string.

They will just treat our children like they treat our soldiers.

Turning the schools into an American Christian Madras system would save a lot of money that could then be sent to Bush's campaign contributors. Why, just the savings from changing 12 years of science curriculum to "God did it, that's all you need to know" could pay for the Enron Executive Defense Fund.

7. Other Folks?????
My question to the "Reverand" Falwell would be, what would he intend to do with the non-Christians and the Atheists?

Does he have a "final solution" in mind, as his hero, Adolph did?

How would they handle it?

Showers and ovens?
