Repuke Running for Barney Frank's Seat: They are targeting Mass!
I receive emails from ConservativePetitions because I like to see what the enemy is up to. Chuck Morse, an anti-union, anti-gay candidate is looking to unseat Frank. Morse writes a regular syndicated column, a feature on World Net Daily and Newsmax.com. He received the Right to Work Communication Fellowship Award at an event honoring retired Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC) and other leaders in the Right to Work movement. He has a radio show in the Boston area and is a blatant homophobe. He also wrote a book called "The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism".

This is what we're up against folks-they are going to infiltrate liberal states. Massachusetts hasn't had a Republican congress critter in my lifetime, and I don't want this jackass to be the first!

1. He doesn't have a chance of winning in Mass.
I just don't see it happening. There's not enough support for his breed of ignorance.

A more moderate Republican might have a chance, but a loon like him poses no threat.

2. I suggest you guys get moving up there
if Kerry wins the nomination, which he undoubtably will, and also you know Teddy isn't going to be around forever, I think you all should be working to recruit two Democratic Senators.

Surely you folks have enough Democrats up there to have two?

Don't become like fucking Virginia where one Republican Senator is older than the hills and a fucking pompous ass who made his career marrying Elizabeth Taylor and they don't have elections for him but god damn coronations. The other Senator is the son of a sports coach and a smirking boob besides who never answers his constituent's letters.

Don't be like us!

(Nancy, thinking she should run for the Senate in Virginia just so Warner has some opposition)

4. infiltrate?...how about run for public office?
if the Dem's ideas are better he'll win..in not he'll lose...the Dems don't have a divine right to a given seat, anymore than the Reps

5. Lots of GOP money is behind this
No one has a god-given right to a seat, but there are is a lot of out-of-state money and out-of-state GOP operatives working on campaigns in MY STATE.

7. Elections
Who else is going to run against Franks? It is not going to be a Dem, of course it is going to be a Repub. As far as money coming in from out of state, happens everywhere.

The republicans would love to get a Senator or Congressman from Mass elected. I live in Kansas now, and I know that the Democrats would love to unseat one of the of the reps from here. It is a game that is played every 2 years.

What I would be concerned about is if Kerry wins the oval office, the Gov of MA can appoint a replacement for him. Your Gov. is (R), he may seat a fellow repbulican for a couple of years.

8. The gop does promote the "well positioned" ones, don't they?
He will have all the "free" advertising he needs.. I doubt that it will help him win, unless they say "it's close".. That's the "code" for .."We have diebold to fall back on and if we keep telling the people that it's close, no one will notice...and even if they do, how can they prove it" :(..

I hope that Barney still has the edge ...
