Bush Needs Another War In Order to Win Next Year
Bush needs another war in order to win next year. Let's look at two key factors:

* The Economy Will Get Much Worse Over The Coming Year
Forget the stock market's latest bubble, this economy is heading down the tubes. Last month's UE report is making consumers nervous about spending money in this economy, and that's bad news. Real bad news.

*Iraq is going from stale to rancid
Since the toppling of Saddam, the news just gets worse and worse out of Iraq. Daily killings of our soldiers, no WMDs, and no real plan to rebuild that nation. Moreover, the lying that went on before the war will cost Bush.

Bush needs another war to re-focus the media and to give his right-wing media talking points that will dominate the political discourse and obscure the facts above.

1. With the economy coming apart at the seams, unemployment up,
schools, healthcare, vital services like fire and police departments, all in trouble, I don't think that will help him one damn bit. Especially now that even the Republicans are being forced to face the fact that he is a sneaky, destructive, failure.

The only think that can save his sorry ass is another fixed election.

3. He'll need to borrow someone else's military
He's about used the US's up, and I doubt the Brits are going to lend us theirs again.

4. Doesn't need a war...just another "terror" incident
The Anthrax killer, Osama, and Saddam are all still out there and apparently very much alive.

6. He'll capture Osama
Musharraf knows where he is. All they have to do is wait for the right time.

Watch this space...

9. Checked out the one they're keeping on "simmer"?
Don't forget that every now and then they spring a little reminder of the anthrax incident by getting the FBI to ping poor old Hatfill.

There's plenty weapons-grade material in Fort Detrick (and elsewhere) and so as long as no-one looks too hard at Dr. Philip Zack (the guy captured on video entering the anthrax storage area, weeks after his employment there had been terminated) there's always the chance of a quick "revival".

Amazing how the state-operated security organisations have still got it in for one man while having a total aversion to investigating a far more suspicious alternative ...
