CBO: Bigger Long-Run Deficit in Bush Plan
By Anna Willard

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites)'s budget plans would improve the fiscal deficit in the next few years but send the shortfall soaring over the longer run, congressional analysts said on Friday.

(snip)
The further you go out, the more likely there are to be inaccuracies. They don't even do error estimates for 10-year figures," said Chad Kolton, spokesman for the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Yet another lie .

2. The numbers do not look good.
And they know it.

To bad most of their base is almost completely uninterested in the projections.

I sometimes just want to scream at these people. Like what about the baby boomers retiring?

What about the fact that the war in Iraq is not even a part of the budget, or the projections, let alone any other future conflicts we get involved with?

That is the true problem with these tax cuts and trickle down theory.

Even if times are good, and they are not economicaly or for foriegn policy, there are simply way to many factors that could eliminate the forcasted influx of new revenue even if it were not a pipedream.

I wish cons could understand that we could reduce the amount of tax we pay simply by bringing down the defeceit.

And the interest money is completely wasted. We get NOTHING for it.

I wonder just when it is that we are supposed to begin paying these insane deficiets back?

Though I am not or have ever been repub, I have always thought I was fiscaly conservative.

But lately I have begun to realize that it is indeed a liberal stance on the economy I favor.

We are the only party able to talk of balanced budgets by actualy producing them, and we get bashed for overspending and overtaxing.

Unbelievable.

Repugnants haven't seen a balanced budget under their flag for decades.

I just cannot fathom how anyone who is even remotely concerned about our future debts can support *.

It boggles the mind.
