9. do you mean wins or "wins"?
if he "wins" through cheating, judicial or nonjudicial, there will be trouble.

But even if he loses there will be trouble. The Brownshirts, egged on by Fox news, Limbaugh, and other hate radio jocks, will I'm sure convince their listeners that the election was stolen from Bush, and they will take to the streets, even if it means civil war. Because they do not give a sh** about democracy or rule of law. They just want power.

19. Oh, I mean "Wins" ....
(real definition: steals again) - because I don't think it could go any other way.

If he were to really win, I would have to leave the country because I could not live in a country where the majority of it's citizens see idiot boy as qualified to lead a country and agree with his hateful agenda.

If he "won" though, I would do everything in power to ensure a recall.

11. He ain't gonna win. I am serious about this.
The larger number of Americans are just now catching on about what a load of goods they've been sold. The press and media are just now starting to shine their headlights an administration that has gotten a free pass so far.

The timing couldn't be better.

24. I hope not, but even if we do win
do you think that the extreme right wingers will accept it?? This nation has become so polarized, I often wonder if tensions would heat up enough in the far right camp leading them to react violently toward us.

The hatred on the right and recent reports of it's memebers calling for the deaths of those who oppose their agenda is pretty scary.

If bush* wins I don't know what I will do. All that is certain is the country will suffer terribly! We can't let it happen...

On edit: accually conversation with my wife would have been more appropriate.

14. Nixon again.
If he does win a second term, the secrecy, arrogance and sense of entitlement will fuel his drive for power at the expense of his vocal critics.
Because of it he'll go down like Nixon: he'll do something or hide something and it will stick (finally). He will be forced to resign. He'll leave the country more divided and jaded and hated than ever.
Bad legacy.

22. Nothing probably.
The people who will suffer, like the homeless, the elderly, children and other underclasses won't be able to fight back and no one else will care. Maybe, just maybe if Chimpo brings back the draft you might see a stirring of civil unrest.

this won't be the case, but otherwise...I think I'll stop paying attention to politics altogether because I will probably believe (as I do now), that everything is already a lie and a facade, brought to us by the media. I will finish college, and either move to Canada or some other country, or stay in the US, and buy a gun (afraid of the wacko right wing Bush voters as well as the skyrocketing in violent crime with the way the economy will continue to crumble).

28. The draft
He'll roll it out between Inauguration Day and the State of the Union. It will be a Bush draft, meaning: men only (religious fundamentalistwackos never much liked the idea of women in the military), with all kinds of loopholes allowing for the sons of privillege to escape having to serve.

Just for the record, I will not offer my home as a sanctuary for any draft resister who voted for Bush or Nader.

Upon hearing news of the "victory" (which by the way AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN), I'll alert my step-father and mother, and tell them how screwed we are, convincing them to move us the hell out of the country ASAP. We'll catch the first flight to Florence, Italy or Canada and then we'll sit back and watch the destruction from a long way away.

Either that or I'll help lead a protest to start a Revolution :P

31. If he wins...
A lot of people will be pissed, but most will try to go along with their daily lives. Just as long as we haver our reality TV and our junk food and celebrity scandals to distract us. Even when things get really bad, like social security and Medicaid are abolished or when the draft is brought back, most middle class people won't care.

But eventually people will start thinking for themselves and seeing the mess we have gotten ourselves into. That's when there will be a revolution.

Bush isn't the only one to blame. Our society helped create him by their apathy. The whole system needs to be changed.
