SxSW film conference - wide range of political titles showing
http://www.sxsw.com/film/
March 12-20

Some samples:
------------------
The Hunting of The President
Harry Thomason and Nickolas Perry's documentary, based on the best-selling book by Gene Lyons and Joe Conason, offers a glimpse at the genesis of partisan vendettas and explores the myths and truths behind the nearly 10-year campaign to systematically destroy the political legacy of the Clintons.
-----------------------
This Land is Your Land
A funny and moving look at the impact of corporations on American society, culture, and democracy, told mainly from the point of view of ordinary citizens. Featuring radio commentator Jim Hightower, author Naomi Klein, The Raging Grannies, veteran journalist Jack Newfield, artist Ron English, and many others from across the U.S.
-------------------------
Bush's Brain
(they actually find it?)
Bush's Brain, based on the book by Wayne Slater and James Moore, follows the political career of George W. Bush's key advisor and electoral stategist Karl Rove. Through interviews with pundits and those who had dealings with Rove, the film takes a look at his instrumental efforts in overseeing the rise of the Republican Party in Texas and helping in Bush's surprising ascent to the White House.
-------------------------
A Perfect Candidate
(barf alert)
The filmmakers follow Oliver North's unsuccessful 1994 bid for a Virginia Senate seat, focusing on North's campaign strategist, Mark Goodin, and a Washington Post reporter. Mudslinging ensues.
------------------------

Looks like a good year for film at SxSW.

2. I read the book so I really want to see this film
Morgan Freeman has a great voice. Love his name too.

Showing times if anyone is interested for Austin, TX. You can pay at the door if they have tickets without buying the hugely expensive wrist band. Usually 6-8 bucks a film. The Paramount is a large theater and propably will not sell out during the day.

Saturday March 13
2:15 PM - Alamo

Friday March 19
12:30 PM - Paramount
