New Series: Pelosi and Daschle Watch: Economic Recovery
Edited on Fri Feb-27-04 11:00 AM by John_H
CNN'c on at the ol' office today and one of the biggest stories, along with Edwards and Kerry joking at the end of the debate of course, is the "good economic" news. The GOP and the Bush folks are already out giving credit to Chimp's tax cuts.

Will Tom n' Nancy point out that the Bush recovery is only happening for people who don't need recovery? The latest good news was driven by corporate spending--at the same time jobs went down and salaries remained stagnent.

The Clinton recovery, on the other hand, created jobs and wealth for everyone. Bush's created profits for corporation and prosperity for the top 1 percent.

But with the Daschle and Pelosi roll-over machine on the job, who's ever gonna know?

How about writing them to encourage they grow at least a single spine between them?

1. Ohio's First Energy did not give out their usual annual bonuses this year
well, if you don't count six of the top management, that is.

Seems FirstEnergy wasn't making as good of profits as the past few years. Couldn't afford bonuses to the masses.

But, of course, their top brass were able to get quite huge bonuses.

3. Why would they bother.
It won't be reported. Cnn is a waste of time that I would never pay for. They have pathetic ratings. 780k in prime time.
