Devastating Consequences Of Homosexual Marriage (repost)
http://www.americandaily.com/item/4910

Aside from the obvious spiritual, moral and "structure of society" reasons, lets look at the cold hard financial effect of same sex marriage in California.

Statistics show it is a FACT that the average gay couple does not last long. In San Francisco, flooded with bath houses and all the activities that go with the average gay life style, you have a people determined to have their sex regardless of the consequences, which are now being reaped, including AIDS and many other STDs. These diseases can become very costly. These diseases can become very costly.

...

So if you're newly diagnosed with HIV, and you don't have health insurance, what can you do? ... You get married. BOOM. Medical benefits.

...

How many legitimately married couples are going to lose their medical benefits because companies can no longer afford the skyrocketing cost of medical insurance, footing the bill for all the AIDS and STD victims who cared more about the partner of the month than they did their own medical safety?

This is a classic example of changing the topic.

What he's really saying is that gay male's shouldn't be allow health care insurance. This has nothing to do with "marriage".

He's also lying through his teeth.

Many insurance plans require health exams when adding someone to the policy. If they are high-risk, your insurance premiums go through the roof or they just say "no".

partners that will probably come and go with the wind

With marriage comes divorce. I've been trying to get divorced from my wife for seven years now. I've run up about $10,000 in legal bills (mostly her lawyer's fault) with no end in sight.

the average gay life style

There is no "average" gay life style. These days promiscuity is rare, especially among those wanting to "partner up".

GLSEN infiltrating our public schools and (in my opinion) recruiting boytoys (3) to share in this lifestyle of pain and despair

3. Consider the source
This article was written by Jen Shroder. Two of the article's four citations reference the website www.blessedcause.org.

A WHOIS query reveals the owner of blessedcause.org to be.... J Shroder!

4. That's what we could do, each write an article, then quote each other
as absolute fact since others have said it.

5. Our campus group said marriage would promote monagamy
We'll see if it is true, but it makes sense. They said that one reason that homosexuals may be more promiscuous is because they know that they cannot get married. If marriage were available, more homosexuals would try to build marriage type relationships.
Of course, statistics that I have seen tend to show that lesbains are fairly monagamous anyway. One theory of male homosexual promiscuity is that men are naturually promiscous and since the partners are both men, that tendency is compounded. Regardless, I think that most couples who would want to marry would be just as committed to one another and monagamous as heterosexauls considering marriage.
