What America are these people living in?
I think it is a very sad state of affairs.
These people all took the black acid.

1. That's one thing no one can argue about Bush - he is a man of
his word. He makes the tough decisions and sticks by them. They may be insane and/or mad, but he sure doesn't turn away from the road he has laid out. For some stupid reason, that is the definition of a great leader in this country. I guess teachable, open-minded people and presidents are just plain nuts.

2. Ye Gods I cant believe some of this crap:
Edited on Thu Feb-26-04 02:19 AM by Mobius
""I support President Bush because he is a true leader. He has the confidence to stand alone, and the courage to make tough decisions. He is a leader by the quality and integrity of his actions. President Bush has the compassion to listen to others, and leads our citizens to be more compassionate to one another, there by strengthening our communities and our nation."

-- Cynthia Binns of Clifton, NJ "
:puke:

""I support President Bush because he has proven time and again to be a man of his word. His supporters can count on his pledge and our enemies can count on our resolve. I am very proud of the commitment we are making to ensure the long-term security for our children, both in the area of homeland security as well as financially with sound, strategic healthcare and Medicare planning."

-- David Steding of Orlando, FL "

OK, I don't think these people are real. Please tell me thay are not real.

""I support President Bush because he recognizes that his top priority as our nation's commander in chief is to ensure national security. He has not lost the vision on battling terrorists as so many in our nation who have forgotten 9/11 have. He is making our nation safer in the future so that the brightest beacon of freedom the world has ever known will not be dimmed."

-- Randall Thomason of Murfreesboro, TN "

Good grief!

""I support President Bush because, as working parents of two young girls, we must not only be great role models for our kids, but we must also save for their futures. President Bush's Child Credits have allowed us to put an extra $800.00 to their college funds and he is a President who our girls can look up to and say, "someday, I want to be just like him!". Thanks for being a great leader and role model during the most difficult time in our nations history President Bush!"

-- Todd Goberville of Parkland, Florida "

"a President who our girls can look up to and say, "someday, I want to be just like him!". ???????????????
oh the horror! :scared:

15. Well
There are real people, with those first and last names, living in the places listed. So I guess they are real. Highly delusional perhaps, but real nonetheless.

3. It's worse than it looks!
Did you read some of the reasons these "ordinary" people support Bush? They say things like, "President George W. Bush's honesty and integrity have restored honor to the Presidency" and "President Bush has the compassion to listen to others, and leads our citizens to be more compassionate to one another" and "I support President Bush because he has proven time and again to be a man of his word." Someone needs to get to these people. It's shameful they can't see the truth.

Those are just from the first few. I read a few others where they talk about what a great job he has done protecting us and fighting this war on terror. I had to stop.

4. I'm gonna get arrested
Here is why I support the President:

I support president Bush because I really get off on nationalism, jingoism, and fascism. We are a superpower, and it is about time that the world recognized it! I say the hell with everyone else, the USA is here to stay! We don't need to ask permission. Anyone that complains can just be nuked, because we are right. Those who are not with us are against us, and it is time that our glorious leader started rounding up the dangerous opposition here in the US and sending them off to prison!

when the pictures are with the comments. I don't see anywhere on the comments submission for a pic link or encouraging to send a pic.

11. The testimonials are written by professionals
or at a minimum were edited by them. Key words are in there, and overall it's precisely what you're hearing from the Bush Campaign: Leadership, post-9/11, leadership, policies, leadership.

I've written/revised many testimonials for my clients' to promote themselves, BTW. These are real people...but I'm still willing to bet they've been solicited for their comments.

That is the most "unsettling" thing I've seen in...

To go into public places and know that you're rubbing elbows with "I support him for his integrity and leadership" clones gives me chills. I'd much prefer being abducted by aliens.

16. Probably not even real people
Most testimonials are made up. Except for OTC medical devices, I don't think that any law prevents phony testimonials.

26. Check out Free Republic to see some real nutty Bush supporters
Especially their bizarre "Pray for President Bush" thread. It isn't just a nice "let's pray for the president" thing, but rather a creepy "dear lord, please let our great President Bush crush the evil, Satanic, librul commie homo pinko DemoRATS into dust" type thing. It's terrifying to see how fanatical these people are; some of these lunatics are going to need serious therapy and counseling should Kerry win.
