Rid of Richard Perle Once and For All?
Edited on Thu Feb-26-04 01:57 AM by thebigidea

So the slimy one slinks away... retiring to his French villa, maybe?

The joyous passing of Perle prods me to repost this old piece, Cocaine Coda (Rid of Richard Perle Once And For All):

http://www.terminalproduct.com/cocainecoda.rm

Now to get him in handcuffs before he's sipping fancy drinks with little umbrellas on some distant shore!

(PS. DVD of all these videos now complete. Propaganda campaign to commence after a good bit of post-editing depravity/binging/purging. I'm sure I'll whine about it plenty on these wondrous forums once I recover my motor functions and short term memory.)

1. Ugh-what a hideous creature.
Reminds me of the creepy dead man that stalked the "heroine" in the original version of "Carnival of Souls". (A film that truly scared the shit out of me in my younger years, and creeps me still.)
Are you selling those DVDS? Your work is terrific.

2. Tell me the story
Did Oerle resign? O thought I kept up on most of the current stuff, but I didn't hear this one.

Help me out here. Why do you say he's gone?

3. There's a thread in LBN about this.
Seems like he quit the Defense Policy Board (I think that's what it's called) because he said that he doesn't want his views to be a distraction before the election. Something like that. Good riddance to him, the bastard.

6. I would love to celebrate but I need to know what
is going to replace him, Satan perhaps?

7. maybe momentary celebration, but he's hardly defused
after all, he's after an "end to evil."

I'm sure Perle we'll be around for quite a while. He is undead, after all.

12. That's right
He needs a stake through the heart.

He's not going far; he's just keeping a low profile for election season.

8. Don't believe it. Not even for a second.
Perle's resignation is a front. They don't call this man "The Prince of Darkness" for no reason. Like the Devil himself, he'll still be spreading chaos and destruction wherever he goes -- Which ain't going to be far from the Pentagon.

9. If Bush/Rove/Cheney steal the election, Perle will be back.

Bush will say how much the US needs the devil and his evil back at the Pentagon.

10. Not hardly
He's spent his whole career skulking around the perimeter, never crawling out into daylight where he could be swatted. He's hasn't once held an office title commensurate with his influence. I doubt this diminishes him one bit.

11. oh, I agree. The subject line is a quote from some audio collage
Gotta keep the pressure on him. The TomPaine.com subway ad campaign was a great idea...

13. He's just stepping out of the way for election season.
He'll be back after November. I'll bet you cash money.
