Coalition Helicopter Crashes Near Baghdad; 2 Die (Update1)
Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- A helicopter from the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq crashed today west of the capital, Baghdad, U.S. Central Command said. The two crewmembers aboard were killed, an unidentified military spokesman told the Associated Press.

The aircraft came down in the town of al-Hadithah, in an area patrolled by the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division, a Central Command spokesman said in a telephone interview from Baghdad.

2. no one cares much anymore 109,000 kids on the ground
549 dead soldiers and thousands wounded and maimed but it doesnt get on the news anymore because of the newswhores who ignore real news and prefer the fucking Passion controversy as puff pieces of news
In the meantime, civil war is about to break out and our soldiers will be caught in the middle of it. Add to that thousands of civilians maimed dead and wounded..all of it for ''

5. All The Way, Sir!
RIP good soldiers. The 82nd Airborne protected me when I took a band on a USO tour to the Dominican Republic during the revolution in 1965.

6. I hope to hell we are not all getting "used" to it
Every day the Chicago Tribune prints a column telling the story of a couple of our lost brave soldiers. I just pray the country is not getting inured to it rather than becoming more pissed off!!

Any new news from your stepson Mari?

9. Elect Dennis Kucinich, have our troops home in 90 days. Elect Kerry, et al
and our troops stay "until the job is done" because we can't "cut and run". As far as I can tell, that means our job is to finish getting all that oil and we won't cut and run until we do.

There is that one candidate, second place in Hawaii, who will actually bring our troops home, and has a timetable. The candidate whose name sounds like "Constitution" and who's platform matches - Dennis Kucinich!
