If I hear "activist judges" one more time...
Or "unelected activist judges"...I'm gonna puncture my eardrums with a sharpie. :grr:

And it's coming out of the mouths of freakin' Congressmen! People who are supposed to know that the whole fucking POINT is to keep the judicial branch unbeholden to voters. So they interpret the LAW.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

1. Larry King was good about pointing that out last night...

He kept rebuking his repule guest pointing out that there are really only 2 ways to create a law...she didn't really have much to say to that.

The bible thumping guy was so f-ing disgusting...

3. No kidding
And I vaguely recall something about 5 Activist Supreme Court Justices in late 2000....

Or Alabama's Moore...

4. What do they call the 9 people that elected Bush?
Some might also ask what the President thinks of the 9 "Activist Judges" on the U.S. Supreme Court that stopped the votes in FL and selected a President.

Hmm...

6. Every time they say it
Me: "Isn't that rich, from the man who was installed by activist judges."

Mr. Skippysmom: "Marbury v. Madison -- read it sometime."

8. Idiots.
Judges do come from the people. We elect the people who confirm and deny their places on the bench. Idiots.

And by the way.. there is no explicit right to marriage in the Constitution. But there is a right for ALL citizens to be treated equally by ALL laws in the nation - including marriage laws. The judges ruling in favor of equal marriage policy aren't creating new law; they're merely upholding this principle. Idiots.

9. Repuke buzzword, like
death tax, partial birth, etc. The judges are only activist if they disagree with the k-drags.

10. Tweety used the term several times tonight with McCain.
Give me a break Cris! He then invoked the sacred name of Tony ("The Fixer") Scalia without using the term "activist judge!" Go figure.
