1. Do you know who did that?
I'd love to see one about Jonathan and King David also, it's even more, um, hard to misinterpret.

9. this?
was all I could find in a pinch:

1 Samuel 18:1
Now it came about when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself.

1 Samuel 18:2
Saul took him that day and did not let him return to his father's house.

1 Samuel 18:3
Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.

1 Samuel 18:4
Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, including his sword and his bow and his belt.

11. Awesome
That should make some fundamentalist heads explode. I wonder how they try to interpret it.

12. A couple more verses about David & Jonathan
1st Samuel, Chapter 20, verse41: And as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of a place toward the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.
2nd Samuel, Chapter 1, verse 26: I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.

13. It's lovely, though a bit out of context
since they had more of a mother-daughter relationship.

But still beautiful just the same. :)

15. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but what about Bathsheba?
King David saw out on the terrace from his window in the palace, got the hots for her, "had his way with her" and then shipped her husband off to the front lines where he was predictably killed.

So the most you can say is that that he was bi, or that he was experimenting in his youth.
