Congress and Senate 2004
I am very happy about Chandler's win to congress in Kentucky. It looks as though we will win a South Dakota seat as well. These are major blows to the Right Wing front and I think they bode well for us in the upcoming elections because both seats were considered safely Republican. If we can keep any more Des like Hall from defecting to the GOP I think we can win a lot of seats under Pelosi's leadership this year making congress a virtual dead heat or even pulling ahead of the GOP and taking control. I also believe we have a shot at a tie or a narrow majority in the Senate. Does anyone else share my optimism?

2. I think we will pick up
a seat in Alaska, a seat in Illinois, and I think we have a good chance of keeping Edwards' seat. Also, the Dems in Mass. are going to pass a resolution so that When Kerry becomes President (notice the optimism) they can hold a special election so their GOP S.O.B. of a governor can't appoint a Republican. I would hope barney Frank would run for that seat.
