Question about electronic vote's,
What if the system crash's? Would that give Bush the power to stay in office till a new election were held?

6. They should have paper ballots available just in case.....
The computers don't work.

I'm of the school that all voting should be paper ballots. I don't trust computers. I don't trust the media to report the right results either.

Get involved to make sure you vote counts otherwise elections are a waste of time.

2. THE system?
There are many systems in place. You'd have to check with your county elections supervisor to find out what happens in that event.

4. Patriot delay possible
Under the Patriot Act, the president has the right to delay national elections indefinately if there is "any perceived threat to national security".

Since e-voting is relatively new, there are no specific rules regulating a systems failure. I know that in my county, there are no back up paper ballots to use if say we had a blackout. We are 100% electronic now.......
