On Kamchatka (the Russian Far East) twenty bus passengers found themselves in snow captivity on the Klyuchi - Ust-Kamchatsk motor road, head of the Ust-Kamchatsky district Boris Nevzorov told journalists According to him, communication with the bus driver has been established but the efforts to free the bus which is 5 kilometres away from Ust-Kamchatsk have been unsuccessful so far.
The district head assured that the bus has enough foodstuffs for three days, and nothing is threatening its passengers.
The Kozyrevsk - Klyuchi - Ust-Kamchatsk section of the road is covered with snow and is closed for passage by all means of transportation. As Nevzorov said, alongside the bus, a few other motor vehicles got stuck in snow-drifts on this section of the road.
A violent snow storm and zero visibility do not allow the road services personnel to start clearing the road and evacuating the motor vehicles.
