Let's Count the Parallels Between Jr. and his Daddy ....
Is it just me or is Bush Jr.'s administration just too much like his Daddy's?

1) Each has overseen miserable economies but in a deluded state claimed and claimed until the day they were defeated for re-election that the economy was great/recovering.

2) Each went to war against Iraq.

3) Daddy was a former head of the CIA, Jr. was an abuser of the CIA.

4) Each proposed Constitutional Amendments that made nothing but jingoistic political sense when their popularity plunged. (Flag burning amendment/Anti-gay Amendment)

Shall I continue? Anyone want to add some?

1. Both are one-term mediocrities who --
-- surround themselves with corporate hacks and are unable to speak their own native tongue.

2. They were both "heroic" war-time pilots.
George I bailed out on his crew during WWII. He lived. They died.

George II bailed out on TANG during the Vietnam war. He lived. Our Constitution died.

Of course, both have ties to Prescott Bush (Poppy's Daddy) who financed Hitler during WWII. He made tons of money which is part of the Bu$h legacy today.

Welcome to Amerika!

:-(

3. convenient war
Papa Bush's ratings were in the toilet when Hussein conveniently invaded Kuwait. Guess what...? they went up to 90%
Chimp junior ratings were hovering at 50% when voila - 9/11 happened and up went his ratings.
As far as the the Kuwaiti war i remember distinctly than when the american ambassador was summoned to see Hussein and he asked her whether the USA had any opionon on the Iraqi/Kuwaiti border she responded no - a direct invitation to invade.
An ambassador of any country could not possibly answer a question like that without first consulting with the defense dept or their president/prime minister etc..... So with Papa Bush the reason for the was pretty obvious.
As far as junior goes, there are many unanswered questions about 9/11 - but his ratings did go up.
coindicdence? dont think so.

4. Each set records
1) Daddy Bush held the record for the largest single year federal deficit in history. Dimson will smash that record this year.

2) Daddy Bush held the record for the largest $ increase in the U.S. debt in a single term. Dimson will smash that record--even after inheriting a large surplus from Bill Clinton.

3) Both are married to airheads who couldn't give a shit about the little people. Both wives are falsely portrayed as being socially liberal to take the right wing edge off the men.

4) Both pretend to be "regular Joe's from Texas", when they are really a pair of Ivy League elitists. They are as phony as it comes.

I'm sure there is a lot more, but I'm tired of thinking about those idiots.
