Remember all those bioterror experts who were killed?

I think it was shortly after 9/11 that several very prominent bioterror weapons experts reportedly died, some of them under very suspicious circumstances. I don't remember all the details, and I never did have time to really check it out, but I recall one U.S. citizen whose car was discovered, pointing in the wrong direction, I believe. It seems like some were from other countries.

Maybe it was all an Internet rumor or exaggerations, but it sounded pretty sensational to me. However, I haven't heard anything more in ages. Has anyone here kept tabs on it?

There is a website (which I cannot post here at DU because its a
"banned" site) that has detailed information.

On edit: the folks killed were not "bioterror" experts, they were
virologists (some the "elite" in their field...).
