Flashpoints w/D. Bernstein - Haiti + GuantanamoBay

I was listening to Flashpoints on KPFA. It was stated that Guantanamo Bay is being set up as a tent city for up to 50,000 Haitian boat people. Could this be true? Anyone?

If true:
1- Return to Haiti - when ? (political backlash among minorities)?
2- Allow into US - political backlash among racist base. (boon w/ minorities)?

WTF - I understand that we should be prepared for an exodus, and have probably been preparing for awhile, due to the fact that we appear to be completely behind this 'coup'. But what will happen if the exodus occurs and the individuals end up at Guantanamo.

I'm hoping there are some here that can hash out some of these questions.
