CSPAN: Kennedy on floor now - Gay Marriage

It WAS on CSPAN. Then they cut out to a house vote. :(

Senate floor proceedings are supposed to always be on CSPAN2, but this doesn't seem to be.

Kennedy was hoping the amendment doesn't come to the floor, it should be up to the states, and bigotry should never be written into federal or state laws.

The Kennedy speech was tape from earlier today that they were just playing on C-SPAN because there was a vote going on. But, now the vote is over and Ben Chandler will be sworn in.
