CNN sabotaged Dean's campaign
Someone told me there was an article about CNN admiting they sabotaged Dean's campaign. Is this true?

1. I think it was ABC which pointed out >
that Dean was using a wireless mike that failed to pick up how incredibly noisy it was.

The ad nauseum replays gave the impression that Howard was bellowing witlessly, when in fact, his decibel level was barely above crowd-noise.

3. They're probably referring to the ABC News piece
In which they showed that the characterization of Dean's post-Iowa "scream" was unfair due to the crowd noise being cut out of the mike feed. As part of it, they also asked all the news channels whether or not they believed they had "overplayed" the clip, and most (including CNN) admitted that they had.

I haven't heard of an article by CNN specifically saying they sabotaged Dean's campaign, though, and it seems rather doubtful that they would say so.

BTW, this probably belongs in the Primary Forum rather than here.

4. My own uninformed humble opinion from my gut is that it was
the DLC who fed the media and let them do the dirty work, so they could get their boy Kerry into first place. Just a hunch.

5. Too many factions wanted Dean out. They ganged up on him
to bolster Kerry or Edwards.

Now they finding out Kerry can carry the ball and not fumble.

If we look, its the Pubs who are fumbling and worse, running backwards to our end zone. "Wrong Way Pubs" should be made into a bumper sticker.
