3. Bush is Right to Ban Gay Marriage Permanently
But I can't support Kerry. Too forgetful about his past war record and position on Vietnam and the three WMD proclamations he made or signed.

Nadar seems more solid. I don't agree with all his views but he has been a rock all these years.

4. Wait
You're for Nader, but think that it's good to outlaw gay marriage?

Hmmmmmmmmm

5. Bush is right to ban gay marriage permanently?
How could you deny someone the right to be joined with the person they love?

I hope that you never have gay friends or children because you obviously will never think of them as 'equals'.

"This Democrat will never accept gay marriage.

The psychological and emotional damage to children in gay marriages presents the second worse case delivery of a gender identity crisis.

Mommies do not have penis' and Daddies do not have boobs and menstruate. Not now, not ever.

For instance, a young boy lives with two lesbians, one which he calls Daddy but his Daddy does not have a penis like he does! Who is his role model for being a man, a future daddy?

When mommy and daddy are naked, there is no physical difference. No one looks like the child! Where does this little boy fit in? Kids are not miniature adults who can reason and understand and all this does is warp his mind.

He will be teased at school and in the neighborhood, hurt by children, parents and the world, betrayed by his own "parents" and left to make sense of something that doesn't.

When his "parents" split up, as gay relations are not protected from change either, this child will be subject to other "step gay parents" coming in and out of his life. He will be at a very high risk for abuse.

While broken marriages aren't ideal either, at least they don't throw gender identity crisis into the mix.

Gay couples should not have children, nor raise children, nor adopt children. "

ON EDIT (my edit, not the above post): No wonder opinions are like assholes, at least both parties each have one of those!

10. you make it sound like everyone here would vote "no"
Edited on Tue Feb-24-04 12:47 PM by Neo Progressive
which ideally would be the case, but realistically isn't

I voted no. Governments shouldn't ban anything unless it has a detrimental effect on everyone (with the exception of alcohol, that should never be banned).

And to grandmasue: It's spelled Nader, not Nadar. It's awfully hard to take you seriously when you can't spell the candidate's relatively simple name correctly.
