Another imminent threat!!!
"We need to act now," says the White House!!

"We're two months away," they say!!

Two months from what, you may ask -- as you dig up your dusty duct tape rolls and plastic sheeting?

Two months away from -- GASP!! -- potential same-sex marriages occurring in Massachussetts!!
(http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2004-02-24-bush-marriage_x.htm) Therefore, we need to push through an amendment to the Constitution NOW.

Looks like another "imminent threat". Only this one is even more dubious than the first.

1. One Can See The Media Reports Now As Shock And Awe Coverage
rolls across the nation from one bedroom to another.

This would surely put the republicans desire to see Clinton's penis to rest.

John Ashcroft will no doubt photograph all the offending body parts for later republican viewing pleasure.

3. I'm so pissed today I can't see straight...
if they want a stupid (eventually to be repealed) amendment to "sanctify" marriage, here's what I suggest. "Marriage shall be defined as a contract between one man and one woman. Each individual, over the age of 18, is entitled to enter into a marriage contract only once during their lifetime. After ratification of this amendment, no state or territory of the United States shall honor nor sponsor any law that can be interrupted to disolve such marriage contract."

P.S. I'm a single individual who is just plain fed-up. I don't understand why married couples receive any tax, inheritance, insurance, etc. benefits. They do not make up the majority of the country and yet everything is geared to 'couples'. Thousands in tax breaks go to supporting their decisions to have kids. Why? Families disproportionally use natural resources, medical services, and space. If these 'benefits' are there for a man/woman marriage, I'm all for them being there for anybody.

Sorry, I'm just in a really bad mood...with idiot boy firing up his hate campaign.
