Check Out Bush Re-election Website & It's Letter Writing Function

If you haven't looked at the site of Bush Reelect, check out the letter-writing function. You click on an issue tab at the top of the site, enter your zip code, and the site brings up every newspaper in a wide radius. You then compose your letter, with optional aid from prepared paragraphs, and click “send” to either email it to all checked newspapers or download a rtf file to print and mail.

Compose a letter of your own denouncing one of the many Bush scandals. Maybe the emails coming from the Bush-Cheney campaign will catch the eye of someone at one of your local papers. :D

1. If you use that, try to cut and paste it to your own e-mail

A number of newspapers are checking the sources of e-mails and not printing any that come from organizational type sites to avoid astroturf letters.

...to send one to some small conservative newspaper that probably wouldn't mind the astroturfing, but put two completely incongrouous bizzare sentences mingled within the text.

...do it Bob Boudelang style, where he ends up giving more exposure to the scandals and accusations while trying to give support, stuff like "George W. Bush (who did not disappear from the Texas Air Guard so stop saying that)"!
