Bush lied, people died, get it!!!!!!!!!
Am I the only one here that is starting to get nauseous seeing posters pointing the finger at one candidate or another, stating that they voted for this freaking quagmire of a war. If we had an honest administration then do you think that we would be at war. Point the damn finger in the direction it belongs.People on both sides of the aisle and down the middle made their decisions based on the (tainted)information that was given to them. The American public also voiced their approval based on the same damn false, cherry picked, erroneous info. BUSH LIED, PEOPLE DIED, GET IT!

1. I agree. I have never understood the rationale
of pointing fingers at Congress. They took Bush at his word. He lied and now he is responsible for decieving them. They are not responsible for being lied to.

The Congress didn't accomplish this disaster I mean mission-the Commander in Chief needs to take responsibility. Oh what am I thinking?

3. Welcome!
I'm new myself, just wanted to tell you what a great name you got. RFK was the last great liberal to even come close to the Presidency. He would have saved about 25,000+ American lives in Vietnam if he hadn't been assassinated.

8. i agree but......
..... just because the buck properly stops with bush doesn't mean that congress didn't play a role. congress simply abandoned its constitutional war-declaring responsibilities - that's damn near unforgivable....

.... it's true that they were misled by the administration, but that fact doesn't totally absolve congress - they signed a war-making blank check and gave it to bush; i find that totally inexcusable, especially given that there were dissenting voices at the time, loud and informed.... as i recall, senator byrd gave an excellent speech on the matter at the time - anyone recollect that?

6. Then how come eleven million people around the world
knew the rational for this war was phony before it started?

7. Congresscritters have what they presume to be better information
than we plebeians do. They get all these intelligence briefings etc., to which we aren't privy. They naturally assume that they therefore have a better grasp on reality than ordinary folks. They were wrong because they were being fed bogus "insider information" by OSP & the Bushies in general. We, with our grubby little internet connections, were busy digging through sources that they wouldn't even deign to read. The cumulative information processing power of the internet beat the OSP all hollow. We knew what was happening, Congress didn't.

I just figured that out.
