DU spin Bush's campaign slogan
GOP announced they will be using the slogan "Steady leadership in times of change" for this pres. campaign. I think we should already be amending it. How about "Shifty leadership in dangerous times"? Any suggestions? I am willing to print up bumperstickers and embark on a guerrilla re-sloganizing of offending cars, etc.

10. I say we just run footage of Bush...
...reading the goat story while in the Sarasota classroom after being informed about that our nation was under attack as his new slogan crawls across the screen - ending punctuation changed to a question mark.

Shirking leadership...

17. A few rough ones off the top of my head.
For economic liberals:
Ascending deficits by one deranged

For general ABBs:
Our leadership's in need of change

For anti-war ABBs:
Misleadership in times of change (though that seems too Moveon.org-ish to me)

And for social libertarians:
Steady leasdership with ball and chain.

Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 07:17 PM by Dudley_DUright
"I feel anger! I say, shitcan the mad dope!".

I would love to see someone make an animated gif of the original slogan rearranging itself into this anagram. I would really enjoy having that baby on my sig line (anagram thanks to the Corrente blog)

BTW the original slogan is actually

"Steady leadership in a time of change" (otherwise my anagram does not work)

30. Idiots - when will they learn?
"Steady leadership...."

from a dry drunk (or closet drinker who has never given his addiction up, IMHO)! The repubs just set themselves up with these dumb slogans.

That "bringing honor and dignity" was a real winner.
