Lou Dobbs: "Faith-based Economics"
Lou is my new hero. Used the term "faith-based economics" in describing the budget and deficit.

He is slamming the conservatives for crying "protectionism" to maintain the status quo in situations where reformers are seeking fair and balanced trade.

1. Damn, when did Lou discover his spine?
Here I thought Lou was an unapologetic, Hannity-style Bushevik Whore, but he might actually be a real human being!

Perhaps miracles DO happen!

2. Dobbs is one pissed off old-style Nixon Republican
Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 06:43 PM by mouse7
Dobbs is a traditional Republican and he is pissed about what Dumbya is doing to the economy of this country.

Nixon Republican recognize what a mess Dumbya and the neo-cons are making of the country. He recognizes that Dumbya is destroying the economic base and the ability for business to be successful in America.

..... IS wage controls... watch it in action at the next union-company negotiation - i bet it goes something like this - "Either you lighten up on your wage demands, or we're taking the whole damn outfit to china"....

lol

free trade is an excellent union-buster...

3. Lou Dobbs is doing good work. Hence, he will be fired.
Of course, he will lose his job for speaking up (corporate owned media will see to that), but I have to admit, I admire the man.

4. He's great
This whole issue has come to the attention of the media because of his persistence.
Makes me wonder how many old style repubs will be voting Democratic because of their aversion to shrub.
Heard a couple on Hannity on the way home (pays to listen to what they are thinking)

6. Lou Dobbs - Easily the Best Show
I don't even care if Lou Dobbs was, or is, a Republican. He talks my language. Unions = Patriotism
