Does it seem to you that the media, driven of course by Rove, is constantly lowering the standards of expectation for GWB? No matter how utterly absurd, ridiculous, or blatantly false GWB's utterances, the media people don't bat an eye. Whatever idiotic thing GWB comes up with becomes sensible in this Orwellian black is white, up is down surrealistic world Cheney and Rove have created.

How much lower can the bar be lowered for this ignorant, arrogant. lying phony??:shrug:

I don't want to be overly complacent, but I think we are close--some of his failures are starting to become more apparent. And certainly his appearence on Meet the Press didn't help him much.

4. Not just the media.

His supporters lower the bar for him also. I was over on the message board at Internet Movie Database where people were discussing that movie "DC 9/11". Someone started a thread titled "What Bush Really Did on Sept. 11" where they were pointing out how he sat on his ass in that Florida elementarty school classroom. There are actually some people on the board who think that that's exactly what he SHOULD have done. One guy actually told me that it was "idiotic" for me to have expected Bush to end the photo-op and take any action whatsoever. Yeah, whatever.
