1. This is the biggest thing since ketchup became a vegetable
The sheer audacity of re-classifying hamburger flippers to the manufacturing sector!

I have no words. (It's like "I....I...ih...cha....ke.....pa..." until I can't breath anymore)

Perhaps that's the repug stategery: leave your opposition speechless. Then, you can monopolize the debate.

2. I don't think Bush can get away with this before the election.
I don't think Bush can get away with this before the election.

But if he wins in November, we probably will see fast-food jobs counted as manufacturing jobs.

Ronald Reagan also has Fun with Statistics with regard to jobs, by mixing in soldiers with civilians in calculating employment. Before Reagan, civilian and military employment were treated separately.

3. Top this, bushies
How to include all unemployed people in the manufacturing sector:

It's a cottage industry: they take foodstuffs into their home, and using a complex assembly process developed over billions of years, extrude cyclindrical tubes of fertilzer for use in the agricultural sector.

4. Even Lou Dobbs
called the Bushies on this. McJobs. You can't believe anything out of the Bush administration. Science is all theory and completely open to debate (and completely open to being purchased -- hence the Bush "scientists" who back up crazy talk, for the right price). No Child Left Behind leaves children...behind. The "Clear Skies" initiative is really clear robbery for environmental polluters. It's Orwellian mindspeak appropriate for the uneducated and the easily manipulated. Fight back with facts.
