Has anyone ever seen an obituary on FOX for a soldier killed in Iraq?
I've seen the names, ranks, ages, hometowns, date of death, etc., shown on Nightline, PBS, and CNN. But has anyone ever seen any information about who these people are on FOX, NBC, CBS, or MSNBC?

As I was watching the FAUX drones wax poetic this morning about the demise of Spot, a WH dog, it dawned on me that these "great patriots" don't appear to ever post the names or show pictures of any of these young men and women killed in Iraq.

2. Good Lord, you're right.
We heard more about that goddam dead dog than any soldier killed in Bush's oil war. Soldiers are expendable to the repugnant conservatives and the chickenhawk cowards.

6. dont watch FAUX
FAUX is the :evilfrown:

I went to get car tires one day. The waiting room had FAUX on, so after a few min of their propaganda i got up and changed the channel. As soon as i did, a lady got all out of shape and went to the manager. The manager came in the room and asked what everyone wanted to watch, everyone in the room said they wanted FAUX back on, so he turned it back on. After he turned it back on, i took a deep breath and explained to the 6 others in the room that i just think FAUX is GOPer propaganda crap, told the manager to go to hell and took my business else where. As, i left all the brainwashed FAUX lovers were laughing at me, even the NAZI manager.

I've told all my friends to spread the word about that store, they will be out of business in weeks. :toast:

That is a heartwarming story. I too complain when I see FAUX playing in stores.

3. Does Bush's dog count?
I bet more tears were shed for him in the WHite House than all the deaths in Iraq.

5. calling attention to military resources that have become unusable could

undermine support for the war on terror.

That is the reasoning, but I think it is overcautious.
Expendable resources are recruited from populations that are considered undesirable before they join, and disposable once they do.

8. I just noticed what you wrote.
That is arctic cold, "military resources that have become unusable."

11. US policy is to impose its will on its extra-territorial properties and

secure its natural resources located there in order to increase revenues for US business interests. Many of these properties contain rogue native populations that must be brought to heel, and reduced as needed in order to prevent these terrorists from attempting to steal or sabotage US property.

In order to achieve its objectives, the US employs a variety of resources, some human, some not. While it may sound cold to you, you can be assured that oil and defense company executives find the policy quite gratifying, and productive of a distinct and pleasurable warmth as they view their quarterly reports.

9. Good grief
The fucking dog dies and Fox news reports it? Fox should have ditched "Fair and Balanced" long ago and replaced it with "Fox News: Our heads are up Bush's ass."

Remember when Clinton's dog died, and people from the right -- joking, of course (sure) -- said that Clinton had killed the dog?

I hate Fox News.

10. Report it? They had video and interviewed their WH reporter.
It wasn't simply reported during their half-hour run down, but was a "segment" with accompanying "chitchat."
