I heard this on NPR, about "The Passion"
Going to work today, there was a story about The Passion of the Christ, and about the people who will see it. They brought on this housewife who created a site about the movie, and NPR asked why she would create the site and she said something to the effect of "To combat the powers in Hollywood and New York who are slandering this movie."

Hmm, and what group of people supposedly control Hollywood and New York?

I thought this was funny since Jesus also happened to be a member of this group.

1. If Jesus would appear in one of their tight-ass churches,
They'd tell him to get a haircut and a shave.

2. One of the best lines about those people I ever heard was
If Jesus ran for President, do you honestly believe the Christian Coalition would support him?

Wish I could remember who said it. I'll claim it as mine till then :D

4. I think Lenny Bruce
said something to the effect of, "if Jesus came back today, some people would be wearing electric chairs around their necks"

5. F***ing moron
Who the f*** does she think is producing this crucifxion porn. Mel Gibson owes his success to Hollywood. Shit, she is witnessing one of Hollywood's greatest publicity stunts, using nimrod's like herself to promote a freakin' PROFITMAKING venture. Ol' Mel may be a bigot and a nut, but he sure learned a thing or two from Hollywood about self-promotion.
