The Pentagon now tells Bush: climate change will destroy us!
It seems a secret report warns of rioting and nuclear war - Britain will be 'Siberian' in less than 20 years - Threat to the world is greater than terrorism -

A secret report, suppressed by US defense chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.

The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents. -

The findings will prove humiliating to the Bush administration, which has repeatedly denied that climate change even exists. Experts said that they will also make unsettling reading for a President who has insisted national defense is a priority.

8. This will not humiliate him in the USA where it counts

because it will never be reported by any major television news outlet. He may be humiliated in the eyes of the rest of the world, but the rest of the world already knows he's a doofus. I heard about this a week or two ago at least and there hasn't been word one on it from the mainstream media.

"Thermeggadon", by Robert Hunter (co-founder of Greenpeace, not the Dead lyracist ;-)

It's very well written and easy to understand. It focuses on what could happen if the Gulf Stream shuts down, which I think the Pentagon report is alluding to when it talks of Britian having a Siberian like climate.

If there's anything to "karma", this may be Mother Nature's way of throwing off the human infection. Sorry to put it that way, as I'm a big fan of humans...

from my recollection it was a report about "if a climate change of x% happens, how will it affect the world." It didn't state that there will be this climate change.
