Buy Girl Scout Cookies!

It looks like the reich wing whackos are boycotting Girl Scout Cookies this year.

Something to do with the Girl Scouts supporting Planned Parenthood.

I just did the same thing I did back when the reich wing was boycotting France, and did a "buycott" instead. Loaded up on Girl Scout Cookies, I did! :) It's cookie season (so much for the Atkins diet...). Planned Parenthood rocks, and the religious reich sucks! :toast:

1. We bought 144 boxes this year

and didn't even know of the boycott or buycott. Might be that we sold them to friends to raise funds for the daughter.

They support girls of every religion, sexual orientation, and nationality. Plus, they support choice and community involvement.

Plus, the cookies are just damned good.

one of those little plastic sleeves of thin mints it's all over. I can't stop until every single one is gone. As hard as I've tried I cannot stop until the package is gone.

Guess I'll just have to hold my nose and choke down those thin mints. Man, principles suck!

Serious now, I hope they're selling them outside our Kroger again this year. I gotta have my thin mint fix.

9. If you really want to help the Girl Scouts, just make a donation.

They don't make all that much on a box of cookies. They get to keep all the donations they make, but the money earned from cookie sales has to go thru the home office.
