Scottie says, the American public agree with the President....
That marriage is a scacred union between a man and a woman. Is that not invading people's private and religious life...Georgie? Big government coming into your home?

I don't think we all agree with him about it. Fact is....we care more about getting his opinion and person out of there period.

Personally, I don't respect his opinion on anything. He is not my President or my religious leader.

beating that he is taking from the reporters these days...on the AWOL and etc. Scottie tried to go round the subjects, but the reporters kept calling for a simple yes or no. It was a joy to hear it. Maybe some of the press now regrets its former mis-coverage.

2. the notion that marriage is "sacred" is a Christian belief
actually, a marriage is a legal defintion and necessarily so, and recorded as such, since the distribution of accumulated goods during that marriage is, indeed, important and necessary to be fairly distributed under the law in order to be fair to each party.

. It is necessary for legal purposes to be "married" or to obtain a certificate that establishes the legality of the committment beween the couple in order to be protected for the assets the party , either party , has contributed to the marriage.

Often time, this under the current law, protects the male more that it protects the female.

If persons of the oppostie sex, wish to establish that their committment to each other, is "sacred" and complies with the standards of the Christian religion, then they will have a very hard time accepting the contention of same sex partners, claiming the same who are NOT religious and do NOT believe that a religion determines their right to control over their family and their religion.

Certainly it is possib;e that the committment be the same in both the heterosexual and the homosexual committment to a partner, although the prospect of having children from a gay marriage is absolutely null.

5. my scotties disagree
There is an 8 month old scottie puppy sitting on my foot, and she
is a tart if there ever was one. She play humps the old female dog
sitting in the bed when she's randy, and she lets any boy in the area play shag with her.

These REAL scotties in the REAL scottish highlands here disagree with the euphemism you're calling "scottie"... "he's a wanker", me oldest scottie just woofed out as he climbed up the stairs.! :-)

Barney the scottie rules the white house and does his best to keep
the barbarians at bay, yet he is just one wise being, amongst a pack
of republican idiots... and his determination is streteched.

The formal scottie rule is shag and be shagged.. period.
