Was on CNN crossfire. This way Bush can claim that he actually added manufacturing jobs. Is this a joke?

2. Not a joke. Orwell was right.
Yes, they are trying to do that.

As Soviet as Brezhnev are our Imperial family and their Stooges.

They just rationize their Tyranny using different ideals. Same Tyranny.

6. Lou Dobbs just showed that * econ policy guy explaining it.
He said that McDonald's workers 'manufacture' hamburgers.

and it was the * econ guy who said outsourcing was good for the country!

10. This is great
I sent it on to my (retired manufacturing union guy)Dad. He's a republican who is really pissed a Bush & Co. He'll be happy to know that Bush thinks the guy making him a burger is a skilled laborer like he was.

11. I don't understand why
but these guys are really killing themselves. I never thought Rove et al were the geniuses they were made out to be but just lately they couldn't possibly appear more incompetent. Fast food is a "manufacturing job", outsourcing is a GOOD thing, Iraq is now free as long as they don't want to be Islamic, privatizing Medicare is "helping seniors", and on and on.

We should step aside and watch these clowns implode. Seriously.

12. they also did a report on this on Marketplace on pbs
I heard it on my way home tonight...

and, yeah, I couldn't believe it.

Bush should have his job reclassified as massager of truth.

but if service jobs get reclassified as manufacturing, then it's time for service job unions!

burger flippers united.

or F-U, bush...

on days like today I think I have to stop paying attention because it's driving me crazy.

13. if making burgers
is manufacturing and is now skilled labor, doen't that then make the burger makers inelegible for overtime under the new rules because they are skilled?

14. They are so freaking DESPERATE!
They are cornered like rats in a trap. They are scrambling so hard to hide their lies and crimes of the past three years that they are resorting to desperate measures. They can't even pretend anymore that their stories are credible. It's tacit that they don't believe what they're saying and neither do we.
