1. This is not necessarily bad news for us
Especially if Nader continues to hammer Bush.

4. Yeah, like that will happen.
He lent his support for Bush over Gore in 2000. What makes you think that he will hammer Bush? He will most likely hammer on kerry or whomever becomes the nominee.

5. As I said in another thread...
"he won't be much of a factor. His credibility is near zero now. Additionally, I doubt he'll be able to get on hardly any ballots at this point."

Let the freeps have their party and waste their energy on this. Bush is toast in November.

16. He doesn't have to get on a lot of ballots.
Just the right ballots. Florida, Wisconsin, Iowa, New Hampshire and a few other close states.

8. I'm not so sure it's bad news, either
Frankly, I think it's safe to say a good chunk of Nader voters in this case wouldn't have voted for Kerry or Edwards anyway. Dems will be backing our nominee quite strongly.

2. I hate to break it to them
But there's a good chance Nader may not even make it on the ballot in a lot of states because he doesn't have the Green Party organization helping him get the thousands of signatures he needs. I saw this mentioned in an AP article.

3. Nader won't take that many votes away....
unless Kerry moves too far to the center. Kerry is just gonna have to show there are key differences in taxes, gay rights, war, etc.

7. As long as Democrats pre-emtively ennunciate the distinctions
this could be good for the party.

9. I don't think Nader will have the impact he did in 2000
Those that vote third party do so regardless of the Democrat running. A lot of the crossover Democratic vote in 2000 will vote for the Dem nominee this time.

The freepers rejoice too soon. Bush will go down, unless he finds a way of stealing another election.

10. Nader is not going to get the votes he did in 2000
At least he's not going to be taking away from the Dem candidate. ABB feelings are too strong and many people learned from the 2000 mistake. My feeling is that whatever votes Ralphie gets will be from folks who otherwise would have stayed home.

19. From a BBV standpoint, it sure would be convenient to have him
on a ballot and provide a convenient place to park votes.

13. If You Want To Neutralize Nader Vote Kucinich
Ralph will not run, if Kucinich is the nominee!

14. They must really be worried about Bush losing
if they are creaming in their pants over Nader getting into the race. Nader will be an * this time around but I am glad they will have a little false hope. Maybe it will make them complacent.

17. Buchanan probably wouldn't hurt Bush much either but
McCain would. It would be Bull Moose (1912) all over again.

18. Every dollar a freeper sends to Nader
Is one less for Bush.

Now if only we could get Roy Moore to run then we'd have an exciting four way race in November. Just imagine the debates. Yikes.

20. To all FReepers
One of you just posted this on FreeRepublic:

Time to hit a certain Web Site That Must Not Be Named with a bit of gushing enthusiasm for Nader. He's America's only hope. Really!

Sooooooooooo, you admit to using deception and trickery whenever expedient, eh? I admire your momentary burst of honesty. Hell, I like you. You can come on over to my house and...uh, never mind. I gotta stop watching Full Metal Jacket while I'm on-line...

In any case - WE GOT YOUR BUTTS IN A SLING. Deal with it for once, will you?

21. The coprophagic freepers who post here are like Bush himself,
completely lacking in honesty and integrity. They love their money more than they love their country. Again, just like Bush.

says a lot about King George, doesn't it ?
