Seattle Times says Bush is "the right strategy for a dangerous world."
The author, Mariana Parks, is a member of the board of directors of the Discovery Institute (www.discovery.org), Seattle's favorite band of corporate creationists. On this page > http://www.discovery.org/fellows/ you'll see Washington State's foremost charter school advocate listed - James Spady. This fruitcake has found a new ally in Bill Gates, who's promoting a new charter school initiative.

1. Mercer Island
I live in Washington and this lady lives in the land of white supremists. The only city in America who got a tunnel under their island so people wouldn't stop there. What a kook this woman is.

4. Gates and Spady
Jim and Fawn Spady are Washington State's biggest charter school advocates. Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen bankrolled a charter school initiative a few years ago. This year, Bill Gates is pushing it.

Also, when Bill Gates got his butt kicked in court (re: his antitrust lawsuit), "60 Minutes" interviewed him in a Dick's Burgers (sheez, I'm spacing out the name... I think that's right) just a few blocks from where I live. That chain is owned by Jim Spady.

Gates and Spady are both key members of Washington State's "Education Mafia."

6. And Skull & Bones helps keep it that way
It's why Kerry says we will stay the course in Iraq. I like most of his views, but he sticks with S&B - the New World Order on things like trade, war and civil liberties (voting for the Patriot Act).

8. well, you can't argue that!

the world is certainly more dangerous under the current 'strategy'

this woman is flat out nuts! she references the first meeting of the NSC as being when the WH began discussing the al Qaeda threat using the O'Neill book. did she read it? the point there was that the subject was SADDAM and not terrorists!
Why did we invade Iraq?

To preempt Saddam and al-Qaida; to take the fight to the enemy; to make the front lines in the war on terror Baghdad and Mosul, not New York and Seattle. We invaded Iraq to protect America. In doing so, we have introduced the possibility of freedom and democracy to millions of Iraqis, and greater peace and stability in the Middle East.

"We invaded Iraq to protect America."

 if they sell that it can only be called "Mad Cow Diplomacy"
