Hoya to Hoy!! Hoya to Hoy! I Hear the Fat Lady Singing.
George W. Bush has got about as much chance as a snowball in hell of winning a legitimate election in 2004.

The landslide will be too much for Diebold to make up.

1. Please explain your reasoning for your jubulence.
I agree with ya. Just would like to know your thoughts.

6. Well, one literal interpretation is that Barbara Bush has waddled out
to sing.

Seriously, everything is coalescing to a point. You got Chalabi now saying he suckered us into getting rid of Saddam for him. You got Halliburton making commercials. Bad bad mistake. Most people didn't have a clue that we are paying Halliburton to house, feed, clothe the troops, in addition to all the other ventures they are profiting from. They got no bids on everything: oil, construction, training, you name it, and they got caught cheating.

People are really just now getting pissed about no WMD's. Bush getting hit with AWOL. Everyday now I'm pleasantly surprised by people who argued with me that "we gotta attack Iraq", now saying, "he lied to us, I can't believe he lied to us".

I just loooooove opera and right now the fat lady is really belting.

3. From your lips to God's ears. There will be much jubilation and
dancing in the streets when the Chimpster goes down. He must be in real trouble, Laura on the news programs on Wednesday, Barbara's tired old ass yesterday, call in the skirt brigade so he can hide behind 'em.

4. If it's that bad, expect another terrorist attack before November.
Unthinkable?

Do you trust them (i.e. Bush criminals)?

Fascists have a hard time giving up power.

9. Postman. If they try something, this is what I believe they will do.
They will foil a fake assasination attempt. Another "terrorist" attack might backfire on them. He can't run on the "I made America safer" bullshit.

12. What do you think the fake bio-attack letter was?
It was a great time to take the focus off R's that had hacked Democratic e-mails.

Under Bush _all_ things R possible.

16. It has to be more spectacular than that
And how do you top 9-11 for impact? Think big. Something like North Korea attacking the US with a nuclear missile, that miraculously doesn't hit its target, SF or LA. Of course, W would have to respond swiftly and aggressively by nuking NK.

Or here's another senario. An attack with a dirty bomb on the Statue of Liberty right before the convention. The statue has been closed since 9-11 so there would be few casualties and it would give them the perfect excuse to enact Marshall Law. Then W could focus on hunting bin Laden again, with a spectacular capture live on FAUX, right around the last week of Oct.

It's a good thing I don't work for Rove. I'm sure I could think of a few more.

7. We were all jubilant before the 02 elections and guess what
we didn't gain seats and Jebbies still gov of Florida. If not God then who? Pray tell. How in the world this guy ever won the first time around is beyond me and most of us I'm sure. Please don't say the supremes as in court did it. He still had to get close enough to allow them to do it for him. I am beginning to believe the Pat the rat is right and there is Divine intervention on this guys behalf. He has tons of money to spend and tons of time to pull the old rabbit out of the hat. Please let's not rest on our "laurels" just yet.

10. Come on grannyb. He's toast.
"Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, er ... well you can't fool me again." The gig is up. Sure he's got a base that doesn't give a shit that he lied and all, but there's a lot of pissed off americans.

By the way, the inferior court definitely put him in the white house.

11. I agree with you....
The rural all-republican Virginia town I live in used to have three members in the local Democratic party. Even though the bulk of the population is environmentally astute (since the county is surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay) they still all voted republican in 2000 and 2002. But now....THE TIMES THEY ARE A CHANGING!!! Truly! The local Democratic party is growing every month...with regular meetings and social events. It's kind of funny...but it has become trendy to be a Democrat. Yes...it's shallow...but I'll take them anyway I can get them and make it my personal goal to get them to the polls in November. Virginia hasn't voted a Democratic president in like 50 years...this year will be different...I can feel. It'll be the Susan Lucci year!!!! (Only soap fans will get that.)

Edited on Fri Feb-20-04 10:19 AM by Art_from_Ark
That was the last year that VA voted for a Democrat for President, if I'm not mistaken. So if VA goes against Bu$h, then times really would be a-changing.

13. "Hoya to yo" is a little premature, I think, also.
On another message board I visit, there is more chatter about who's got the red states versus the blue. It is possible that the electoral votes still give the crooks an edge, but I don't know for sure since I don't subscribe to the state-by-state results on Polling Report.com.

I think the tide has turned, but people are so overworked that their memories can be short at times, and they are easily persuaded by the garbage spewed by the WH and media. I suppose I shouldn't be so cynical, but I've lost most of my faith in the electorate.

But you are right: they are trotting out their "better halves" to improve :puke: the image of the president.

(BTW, I love that scene. I've seen it performed by singers who were all 5'10" and over. They had a commanding presence on the stage. I love opera.)

14. I wish I agreed with you
However, I think in December we will be wondering what the F*** happened. Why do I think this? Look at the quick demise of Howard Dean all done through the media in the matter of 6 weeks time.

The Republicans have not even started yet on Kerry. This will be a nasty evil campaign. These guys are masters at manipulating public events and the average American isn't nearly as smart as they should be in suspecting this.

15. Sad to say but the battle has not even begun yet
Rove and Cheney are sitting on the single largest campaign chest in the history of the US. They have been keeping their powder dry till it was time to open fire. Consider this. George has been taking a beating in the public the past couple of weeks and they have not yet even begun to fight. Of course the numbers are going our way. Its a one sided fight for all practicle purposes.

Hold on tight. Its gonna be one hellacious ride.

17. Shit. I'm with Geraldine Ferraro. She blasted Hannity when she said
Bush started his campaign the moment he took the oath of office in 2001. All the money in the world is not going to help the shrimp. It will backfire on him. You just watch.

Just like the poster above said, it's getting trendy to be a democrat now, it's going to get trendy to see through the hype. Hell, even his believers know that it's hype. They know he lies.

He's going dowwwwwnnn.

20. ponder this...
Bushco has become a liability.
They are too radical, arrogant and stupid which makes them bad for business in the long run.

Maybe the same powers that helped put them in power feel the need to take them out now.

Kerry will still promote the agenda. He is a rich insider. Skull and Bones, Bilderburg, Coucil on Foreign Relations...

A lot smarter and a lot less dangerous.

Unless something unforseen happened and Edwards snatches the nomination.
In that case I dont know........
