I was part of a poll tonight
It was a load of... well, you get my drift. It was a computerized telephone call about my feelings on Bush, Kerry, and Edwards. The worst part was the questions on the issues.

I was asked if I felt a) the Iraq War made us safer or b) if we were better off leaving Saddam Hussein in power. The whole wording and tone of the question made me feel like "a" was the only "right" choice. I was deeply offended since my husband is over there right now.

The other disturbing question was: should there be a law stating marriage is only between a man and a woman or should gays be allowed to marry? Press 1 for yes, press 2 for no. WTF? It's an either-or question!

7. I receive a local issue poll phone call tonight...but they refused to
Edited on Fri Feb-20-04 02:18 AM by Zinfandel
tell me who was sponoring the call, so I gave them the wrong answers...fuck 'em!

It'll make little difference anyway...just if, they, (Pacific Lumber Co. (PLC) need to spend more money to overturn our election, (a bit more than a year ago).

Let's get real here...the corporate assholes are trying to overturn the election here in Humboldt County...

Vote NO on the recall of Paul Gallegos!!!!
