I have to assume you're not on DU on Saturdays. there is always an active thread during the broadcast and this goes back 15 months now. and there's always a 'pre-show' thread with info about that week's guest, etc. and many of the regular callers are DU regs as well.

It's rare that I remember what happened before yesterday, but that could be attributed to the massive short-term memory loss (no fault of my own, I might add). What was that, last month? And to be perfectly frank, I rarely remember that much :-(

I mostly posted in a rather argumentory way because I am partly an asshole, and partly because IT DRIVES ME CRAZY WHEN PEOPLE POST, TELLING ME WHAT TO DO, WITHOUT TELLING ME WHY. Why should I listen to the Guy James Show?

Thtwudbeme, however, told...me...very...slowly. Mike Malloy is apparently very liberal, too, but many of the people on DU relate him to me as being very anti-Southern, which makes him more ignorant than progressive in my book.

All I know of him is what others on DU have said about him -- and most of what I've heard about him has been that he's anti-South and anti-Southerner.

I also heard that it is DEFINITELY too late to help him out, but that he stands an excellent chance of getting on Al Franken's new stations.

*sigh* I won't hear any liberal radio unless it's on the Internet, since I live in one of those "all-radio-is-shitty" type of places.

No mortal being could possibly understand how I feel about genuine East Texas Barbecue; my love for barbecue is SHAKESPEREAN in its depth. It's tangy and spicy and red and with bits of spices visible floating around -- never sweet, and never with honey. And REAL Texans know that the greatest place for barbecue just outside of Ennis that serves brisquit perfectly. It is no exaggeration to say that I once drove four-thousand miles round-trip looking for the perfect Texas barbecue.

Of COURSE I'm drinking bourbon; beer is only for weekdays. Today is Thursday, after all.
