Send troops out without food?
Is this Halliburton's ideas to save money for more profit? Even Napoleon knew...an army moves on it's stomach.

This is so heartless. How can they have enough strength to fight?

It's one thing to be without food, it's another to do it on purpose.

Maybe, the Bush twins might volunteer for their country to go without food for five days?

I know one thing...they will be hard to get along with. Ask any woman that has been on a diet.

1. hungry dogs kill more rats

They are not there to eat. They are there to kill Iraqis and steal oil. Feeding them will not increase either kills or revenues for US business interests.

2. That sounds so totally heartless.
Especially when it stated they wanted to keep injured soldiers pulling the trigger for days without medics.

8. It is heartless. But it's also sarcasm.
I took it that way at least. I'm sure that's what he meant too.

10. That could be a profitable civilian application, too

For assembly lines, even construction. Keep resources usable longer.

Why do you think the Red Cross was organizing drives for food and toiletries for American troops last year during the Iraq invasion?

6. Caffiene gum????

I think the defense department needs to review that one. If they're going to use a stimulant, they should choose one without that doesn't bottom out so quickly and rapidly.

Overall, this sounds pretty benign. They're simply trying to get rations that are small, easy to carr and need to be eaten LESS. I certainly hope they invent an appetite suppressant to go with it though!!!!!

7. Gee, I wonder who they are going to experiment on first.
ANd whether they'll even be told that they are guinea pigs, or that there could be long term health repercussions.

What a bunch of bastards.

9. It may have already happened
at Fort Bragg...

http://www.ddh.nl/pipermail/wereldcrisis/2002-November/003190.html

FORT BRAGG -- The Army said Wednesday it is preparing to release
findings and recommendations from a review of domestic violence deaths
involving Fort Bragg soldiers.

The findings are scheduled for release this afternoon.

Four Fort Bragg soldiers killed their wives in June and July,
authorities said.

Two of the men committed suicide, and the other two are charged with murder. Three of those cases involved Special Operations soldiers, and three had served in Afghanistan.

In a fifth case, a woman is charged with murder in the death of her
husband,a major in the Army's Special Forces.
