You guys have to see this sentence from a CNN article
Josh Marshall posts it re: Bush's credibility problem. "The White House backed away Wednesday from its own prediction that the economy will add 2.6 million new jobs before the end of this year, saying the forecast was the work of number-crunchers and that President Bush was not a statistician." He's not a statistician? No shit, Sherlock. ROTFLMAO

1. Does Bush have any qualified people working for him?
It should now be painfully obvious that he ain't qualified.

He got an honorable discharge from the Guard without showing up, he got an MBA from Yale without taking statistics, and he got a fortune out of business without having any success. Ho-kay....

6. How did he get into any business school?
Edited on Wed Feb-18-04 03:11 PM by mac2
You needed a B average going into your junior year to get into business school at my university. How about a C student at Yale? I had to take statistics in my under graduate business courses. Seems my public university is better than Yale. I don't believe Bush could get more than a C in any business course. He can hardly talk or concentrate. Might be those years of alcohol and drugs.

new jobs are being created in India. It's called "Outsourcing". I remember one of Bush's people bragging about how this was going to be sooo good for our economy in the long run.

13. Or maybe it's 3.8 Million?
Hell, why not go for broke and claim they're going to create a Googleplex of job related program activities! And no one can DISPROVE that claim either!

11. those are 2.6 million
low-wage, part-time, no-benefits jobs. It will take an average of 7.3 of them for each legally married heterosexual couple to put food on their family, so the pie has indeed been made higher.

19. I'm curious. Is he actually responsible for *anything*?
The C.I.A. is to blame for the Iraq invasion. Sailors are to blame for the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner. Statisticians are to blame for the bullshit job predictions. The economy is Clinton's fault. Ugh.
