So who just killed 15 people in Iraq U.S. or suicide bombers
15 Dead, over 100 hurt in Devestating Iraq Suicide Bombing

A devasting suicide bomb attack on Tuesday killed at least 15 Iraqis and nearly 100 others injured, including dozens of coalition soldiers, at a Polish army base at Hilla, according to officials here.

Blast shows deep Iraqi mistrust of Americans

Iraqis were probably asleep when two explosions hit a Polish-run military base, killing at least 11 people. But that didn't stop them from drawing the shocking conclusion that U.S. planes fired rockets at them.

"We heard the sound of a plane overhead and a rocket landed ant then a second rocket landed, "said Omar Zayed, 17, who lives near the site of the explosion." "It was the Americans."

1. The credibility of the US is trashed -- planet-wide.
It's going to take years to rebuild it.

years to rebuild. it will just take an intelligent democratic government with a trusted state dept. to get things back on track. if bush wins then all bets are off on how far this country can collapse in the world markets and stature. the rest of the world will look to europe and the growing brazil-china-south africa trading block. russia will retool it`s military to stop the usa influence around russia`s borders and china will start it`s campaign against india. of course you still have north korea and the muslim terrorism across south east asia and the middle east.

2. They are just saying that because the Resistance doesn't have planes

with which to fire rockets.

4. if it really was an intended hit on the Polish occupation base,
I don't doubt that it was resistance bombs that did it. From early reports, it seems that fire from the occupation forces detonated the bombs a bit early. If somebody wanted to make it look like it was but it purposely wasn't, that is the bombs striking "early" were not early at all but rather meant to seem like they were, then perhaps the plane angle is more accurate. The Iraqi air force has been worse than shit since the Iraq-Iran war.. the resistance groups wouldn't have anything to use even if they wanted to.

One of these days they'll score a perfect Beirut or Tyre-style hit on the occupation bases. Or if they have permanent US occupation bases to fire at, a decade of mortars and katyushas to produce the same effect.

A big hit on one of the US occupation authorities' lackeys would cause a major controversy and trouble in the home country of the target--99% of the nations who are lackeys to the recolonization of Iraq have their populations widely opposed to assisting the occupation, something like that could push them over.
